XMP and new memory sizing

XMP & RAM

Deciding what RAM to get for a gaming computer or workstation/desktop can be a little tricky.  Ideally, we want the largest and the fastest. Unfortunately, RAM and computers have limitations that aren’t really advertised on the box. Normally having as much RAM as the computer can take might make the RAM perform at a slower speed. In order to get the faster speeds(XMP), specific compatible RAM would need to be used. This can be found on the motherboard support page. Having not supported RAM or a not supported layout(ex. 4 sticks of RAM vs 2), can cause various issues.
