SSDs and RAM

A massive power outage in Hwaseong, South Korea caused the Samsung wafer manufacturing plant to go without power for more than one minute. Yes, one whole minute. This outage caused the manufacturing plant to discard many silicon wafers.

This means that the amazing prices for SSDs and RAM that we have been experiencing for the better part of 2019 will most likely not continue into 2020. This will not only affect the custom building community but also the pre fabricated Desktop and Laptop markets as well.

If you are considering going custom build or upgrading your system early 2020, you may want to take advantage of the current pricings for those SSDs and RAM modules before this possible price increase occurs. If you would like some help choosing or installing the upgrades or building your new custom build give us a call we are more than happy to assist you.
