Please stay vigilant about adhering to safe practices regarding phone calls, email and web browsing. Never give your credit card or bank information to anyone unless you initiated the transaction. Microsoft, the IRS or any of these types of entities will never call you or email you asking for financial information or the security of your computer. Never give your password to anyone…ever. Pay attention to links provided in emails.
Practice safe web browsing by only going to verified sites that you are familiar with. These are just a few of the things that you can do to help prevent getting taken advantage of.
