Microsoft has set the expiration date on the Server 2003 Operating System to July 14th, 2015.
This does not mean that your 2003 Server will stop working on that day but it does mean that your server will become more vulnerable to attack every day after that as it will no longer be getting security updates from Microsoft. To compound the issue, you cannot upgrade Server 2003 so your server has to be wiped and reinstalled or, more than likely, needs to be replaced.
We have replaced many 2003 Servers and although it isn’t too painful for the staff, it can be expensive. We do recommend getting your 2003 Server replaced or reinstalled by the end of this year. Feel free to call us for a quote.
