Over the past week we have received no less that twenty calls about the mouse and keyboard (and any other peripheral devices) suddenly not working. After the issue presented itself the first time we were able to identify it pretty quickly. It is yet another in a recent string of bad Windows updates!!!
This affects only some Windows 10 machines… The issue is relatively easy resolved. All that needs to happen is uninstall that update and restart and hide that update… but how can you do that without a mouse and keyboard?! We have got some tricks and techniques up our proverbial sleeves to help you walk though that process over the phone OR you could just bring it into the shop. If you are experiencing this on a laptop your touch pad and built in keyboard will not be affected and uninstalling the update should be a snap.
