Facebook E-Mail

facebook e-mail

Did you know you have a Facebook e-mail address?

Well if you’re like most people, you have a Facebook account, and that account came with a free @facebook.com e-mail address.  Normally this would be no big deal, just another free e-mail address you can mentally discard.  Problem is, Facebook has changed another feature today and haven’t told anybody about it.  They changed your default e-mail address.  On Facebook (if you have not turned this feature off) your friends have the option to e-mail you rather than send you a Facebook message.

However, today Facebook made your @facebook.com e-mail address your default e-mail address.  So anybody who tries to e-mail you from now on via Facebook will have that e-mail goto an e-mail address you most likely were not even aware of.  If you would like to change this simply goto the ‘Contact Info’ section of your page and you should see an ‘Edit’ button.  Here you can simply select what e-mail address you would like shown.

If you cannot find this option you more than likely have disabled the e-mail option entirely in the past, or if you have any questions, feel free to call Frankenstein Computers for the best Computer Repair in Austin at the shop at 512-419-9777!
