Steve Jobs’ presentation of the first iPhone was all smoke and mirrors…

In 2007 when the world was introduced to the iPhone there were so many glitches and bugs in the device that it was switched out and for other devices during the presentation that were pre-loaded to different screens so as to give the illusion that they actually worked!

I wonder how different things would be now if it hadn’t worked out?

Is this story a testament to taking a risk and it paying off or a questionable capitalistic ruse that didn’t end up blow up in the company’s face?

My personal preference is Android but the love of the smartphone started with the iPhone and though its original presentation was a lie, nothing can change the way it shaped out society.
