With all of the wildfires in central Texas, I thought it might be a good idea to suggest that with all of the import data we keep on our
computers, to invest in an external hard drive. You can back up all of your data to the external hard drive and then keep it in a fire safety box. That way
if there does happen to be damage to your home from fire you will still have a safe copy of all your data, not to mention pictures, since most are kept
digitally these days. Also, having your data backed up on a separate device could be useful if your hard drive goes bad
or you lose your data a different way.
We hope everyone stays safe with these fires.
